Lilly - Transformed!

Lilly’s journey to A Forever Home (AFH) is a testament to resilience and compassion. At just four months old, she arrived in heartbreaking condition. She suffered from sarcoptic mange, painful skin infections, a salivary gland cyst, and debilitating tick paralysis that left her unable to walk. To make matters worse, she was severely underweight, weighing only 20 pounds.

But Lilly’s story took a hopeful turn when she appeared at the doorstep of a kind-hearted person in Mississippi who ensured she made her way to AFH. Once in our care, a dedicated foster parent stepped up to provide her with the love, medical attention, and patience she needed.

Through their care and Lilly’s remarkable spirit, she underwent an incredible transformation, blossoming into the happy, healthy dog she was meant to be. Her journey reminds us why we do what we do—because every animal deserves a second chance.
