Story
Could you imagine a world where a persons ability to see is not dependent on the location of their birth or abode? Meet Adeeko, a patient in Africa who sufferered from cataract in his right eye:
Join our 2022 Sight for Africa appeal to restore eyesight to 6,000 impoverished people like Adeeko, in Africa where over 26 million people suffer from visual impairments, ~80% of which are treatable but aren't because of poverty.
We partner with trusted local NGOs with aligned mission, expertise and logistics to deliver relief to the needy. And where feasible, we connect beneficiaries to additional resources to help put them on a path to self reliance
As a Christian I have always been struck by the compassion of Jesus Christ as he would stop along the way to heal the sick. I can imagine what a miracle it must have been for the blind to see; what joy, as his healing brought sight to the blind. We are fortunate to live in a moment when we dont need a Savior to perform the miracle. Im grateful that this organization Relief for Human Suffering is bringing these miracles to the lives of our brothers and sisters, Gods children, in Africa. Im glad I came across this amazing organization, I am honored and humbled to be able to contribute to such a worthy and valuable cause. - Paul Brown
