At AFRIL, we act as advocates to refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants who come to us for support. We believe in solidarity and we push for change; highlighting the crucial issues that are affecting our community. We believe in working with our service users to raise key concerns, and to support those who have been left the most vulnerable by discriminatory policies and practices. We work on a small budget and rely on the passion, strength and action of our communities to support us. We believe that we are stronger together, and act in solidarity with those who access our services. With the support of funds we have been able to assist people with a range of costs, such as food, travel, hostel accommodation, school uniforms, and other basic items, which become impossible to afford when such unbearable restrictions are imposed.
