Story

Take on the unique and challenging Cross Bay Walk!

The Cross Bay Walk will take place on Sunday 30th April. Starting at Arnside, the walk can take between 5.5 and 7.5 miles (depending on the safest route) to reach the finishing point in Grange.

The walk is a wonderful and challenging walk with varied terrain and stunning views!

There will be emergency back up to assist if needed and any walker needs any help all they have to do is raise their hand and one of the team will come to assist (wearing yellow t shirts).

Entry fee

The registration fee is £15 per person plus we ask all our walkers to raise funds for us by raising a minimum of £50 in sponsorship.

Dogs are welcome and the registration is £5 per dog.

Please keep dogs on lead and under control at all times.

How do I sign up?

Complete the registration form and email to: swatson@ageuklancs.org.uk.

What will you need on the day?

Wear old / Comfortable trainers

Wear comfortable clothing and dress accordingly

Bring a hat and sunscreen

Water (please take into account that on the sands there are no toilets these are only at start/finish point.)

Lunch / snacks as we will stop for a break on the walk

Small first aid kit for yourselves to deal with any minor injuries / blisters etc
