Last year (2020/21) we supported nearly 6000 older people across Waltham Forest through our services, including our Befriending programme, Information and Advice service and our Social Activities. We know the majority of these people live alone, many unable to go out which means they face loneliness and isolation.

This Christmas our Christmas Hamper Appeal is hoping to reach 200 of these isolated older people across the borough and show them that kind people like you are thinking of them. The Hampers will vary from tasty Christmas food, health and beauty gifts, or an activity gift such as a puzzle book. And they will be home delivered with the support of our amazing volunteers.

Please can you make a donation towards the Hampers through our Justgiving campaign? Any sum will be gratefully received and used to buy the contents of the hampers.

The past year has been a tough year for us all, so we want to make sure Christmas 2021 is as joyful as possible for the older people we support across the borough.
