Since 2019, KidsBank has gifted over 400,000 essential items - clothing, nappies, toiletries, toys, books, Christmas gifts, and school uniforms - to help children thrive. In 2024 alone, we supported 3,009 unique children. We expect to gift more than 150,000 items in 2025.

As demand continues to rise - with 1 in 3 children in the UK now living in poverty and several neighbourhoods in Cheshire West among the most deprived in England - securing our future has never been more important.

We have been given a once in a lifetime opportunity to make our vision for a sustainable future for KidsBank a reality. KidsBank have an agreement in place to purchase the LOVES of Chester Garage site. This not only eliminates uncertainties over lease renewals and rental fees, but also enables the charity to generate its own income. This income will cover its annual running costs, ensuring that the charity can support families for future generations.

The Gift For Forever Appeal will fund the purchase of the Loves Garage site, its refurbishment and the installation of a mezzanine floor to store summer seasonal donations and bring our School Uniform and Christmas projects back to the Chester site.

This means that our seasonal shutdowns will no longer be needed, ensuring children can receive help all year-round, volunteers can work more efficiently, and KidsBank can continue to gift items without pause or disruption. The purchase includes the residential flat, former car showroom, and car park, enabling KidsBank to generate a sustainable income to fund our ongoing running costs.
