Story
READ Foundation, established in 1994 is a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing school places for children living in poverty in Pakistan who otherwise cannot afford to become educated. They focus only on education, building and renovating schools to create places for children in poverty to learn and become educated. Their mission: to provide a school place for every child and they have been successful in building close to 400 primary schools so far!!:)
Deen Relief's Aid for Pakistan project, in partnership with READ Foundation, aims to work towards this mission. With your support, together we will be able to achieve greater heights in creating more opportunities for children's education in Pakistan. Funds raised will go directly towards getting the necessary resources (including teacher training) to build a primary school in Kappa Butt, an isolated area of Kashmir, Pakistan.
Last year, some volunteers took part in the Brighton Marathon to campaign for our very successful Aid for Rohingya project. Following this, we are very pleased to have gathered an EVEN BIGGER team for our Aid for Pakistan project to take on the Brighton 10K and half marathon this April!! Our fantabulous team members are very enthusiastic about this cause and we hope that you would be able to donate however much you can and join us in our quest to impart knowledge to the children of the world.
