"I really don't like it when it's hot, it makes me distracted and it makes it difficult to focus on my work. The fans do nothing"
"I get too hot and it makes me uncomfortable, fidgety, grumpy and tired."
"It's really annoying and distracting and just not nice. It makes me slump in my chair when I'm trying to focus."
"...annoying, it makes me feel nauseous and gives me a headache"
"It's really difficult to focus because the heat keeps me distracted. People are always trying to get the fan in their face beacause it's so hot. If it's hot and they make us wear uniform it's worse. the fabric gets sticky and makes it difficult to move."
"I can't concentrate and it makes me a bit frustrated and cross"
"OMG it's horrible, so horrible, horrid"
This is how the children describe what it is like in the classrooms when it is very hot and the effect it has on them. It doesn't sound like an environment any of us would like to work in. Installing air conditioning will make a huge difference by providing relief from the hot playground sun and creating a classroom where then can enjoy learning the the summer term.
