The Family Fun Run is being organised and led by the Ashton Keynes Preschool Committee. Ashton Keynes Pre-School is a registered charity that provides children aged 2.5-4 a positive and welcoming setting, with stimulating and inspiring learning opportunities in a safe and secure environment.  

Our pre-school is a vital community resource for families with young children, emphasising learning through play, building confidence and fostering independent thinking. We offer affordable and high-quality childcare made possible only through the additional fundraising support of our Volunteer Committee and Trustees. I am sure you are very aware of the impact that the current cost of living crisis is having on many families and businesses.

Unfortunately, our charity is one of those who are currently struggling as we try to ensure our fees stay affordable. We therefore are having to really step up our fundraising efforts to try and combat these difficult times if we want the preschool to remain open for our children. The preschool would appreciate your ongoing support. Our sponsorship fundraising will go specifically toward paying for a much-needed facility; a UV roof in the preschool garden to allow the children to play safely outside in both summer and winter. 

We hope this event is not only going to be a positive for the preschool but also in bringing together our Ashton Keynes community in a family friendly event that encourages fitness.This is a family fun day – so those of all ages and abilities are encouraged to take part.  We really want to ensure this is an event to interest the entire family, even those not participating. Therefore within the village hall there will also be a craft and cake stall set up supporting those within our community who have some incredible creative talents. There will also be some small craft stations for younger children within the preschool room to get involved with.
