The rising cost of living has hit the students we support in Azezo, Gondar (Ethiopia) hard. Basic essentials have become extremely expensive; going to school is an extra cost. Many drop out in order to earn some money.

We sponsor students throughout the education system, all the way to university, trying to keep them studying, as this provides them with the most hope for the future. With inflation rampant, our support becomes ever more important in these challenging times.

On top of this, we continue to work with local schools to improve the educational facilities available to the young people of Azezo and we also work closely with St Raphel's school for blind and partially sighted children to make sure that those children that they look after receive the best possible care and education.
