Founded in 2004, Partnerships for Wellbeing provides low-cost community transport in Inverness and free weekly group health walks across the inner Moray Firth area. We work with other agencies to promote and inspire healthy lifestyles and to alleviate social isolation.

Story

PFW - Partnerships for Wellbeing - is a tiny charity doing big things in Inverness. Since 2004, the volunteer-led community transport service has been getting older adults to medical and day-carer appointments. Many of those who use the service lack the confidence or mobility to use other forms of public transport. Over the year; we've added to our services which now include a Friendship Club to help alleviate loneliness and social isolation.

Alan has took up running in the middle of 2024 and has already raised hundreds of pounds to keep our cars on the road and the smiles on our faces.
