✈️ Sky Dive Fundraiser – Supporting TAARC & Our Community
Some people talk about making a difference…
Others take the leap.
On Saturday 2nd May 2026, our very own Alex, TAARC Volunteer and Football in the Community Lead, will be doing exactly that… jumping out of a plane to raise funds for a cause close to his heart.
Alex will be taking on this incredible charity skydive at Skydive Tilstock Freefall Club, alongside the Mayor of Telford & Wrekin, Cllr Eileen Callear, in support of TAARC and the Mayor’s chosen charities: Parents Opening Doors and Hillbrae Dog Rescue.
💛 Why This Matters
At Telford African & Afro-Caribbean Resource Centre (TAARC), we are committed to supporting our community across all generations.
From:
* Empowering young people through mentoring and sports initiatives like Football in the Community
* To creating safe, welcoming spaces for our Over 60s and wider community
* Delivering cultural, educational, and wellbeing programmes that bring people together
Every day, we are making a real and lasting difference.
Alex isn’t just fundraising—he’s representing the heart of what TAARC stands for: commitment, courage, and community.
🚀 This Is Just the Beginning
This skydive is the first of a series of challenges Alex will be taking on to raise both funds and awareness for TAARC and the wider community.
