The Alex TLC Community Weekend brings the international leukodystrophy medical and research community together with the patients and families they're trying to help.
We've been hosting our Community Weekends since 2008 and it's so lovely to watch the children play and grow up together. It's great to meet old and new friends in a relaxed atmosphere.
The community weekend is an invaluable way of allowing sufferers and their families to meet up. Families can offer both practical and emotional support to each other. Its great to get together.
The weekend provides a unique opportunity for professionals to see the impact of leukodystrophy first-hand, and for patients and their families to interact with and learn from the professionals who are trying to make their lives better.
You can help us to ensure that as many people affected by leukodystrophy as possible can attend and spend time with other who can help them to cope and help them to hope.
