Alive's Bike Bath Team 2019
Organised by AliveTaking place on Sunday 30th June- our magnificent team of cyclists will be taking on the Bike Bath Sportive to support the work of Alive.
Story
Our team of enthusiastic cyclists are taking on the challenge of the Bike Bath sportif, riding 50 or 80 miles around Bath and the surrounding countryside on Sunday 30th June.
For many older people living in care, their later years can be confusing and lonely. Alive is a registered charity that brings back that connection to the world, their memories and other people through meaningful activity.
After taking part in an Alive multi-sensory session, Mary, who lives with advanced dementia, remembered her name for the first time in over a year.
You can help us create more special moments like this through your donations. Every penny raised helps Alive transform the way older people are cared for - connecting them with each other, the people around them and their local community.
Support for Alive means we are able to enrich the lives of older people in care. We bring joy, laughter and fun, open windows to the world, bridge the generations, and give older people a sense of purpose again.
