Story
Anchors away: a journey towards a brighter future
In October 2006, our school reopened its doors after being rebuilt from the ashes of a devastating fire in 2004. Now, as we approach the 20th anniversary of this remarkable milestone, and against a backdrop of continued budget cuts, we are launching "All Aboard," a two-year campaign dedicated to transforming our school's environment, resources, and infrastructure.
Why "All Aboard"?
We chose "All Aboard" because this journey is one we embark on together - students, parents, teachers, alumni, and our wider community. By joining forces, we can create an inspiring and modern learning environment that will benefit current and future generations.
WHAT WE'RE RAISING FUNDS FOR

Trim-Trail for KS2:

Our children thrive when they have the space to explore and challenge themselves - Mrs Barnes
We plan to install a fun, safe, and challenging play area for older students to support physical development.
Laptops and iPads for learning:

Imagine a classroom where every student has access to the digital tools they need to succeed. We aim to provide enough laptops for an entire year group to participate in online learning simultaneously, along with additional devices for SEN students.
Visual teaching tools:
Modern classrooms require modern tools. We will implement projectors, smart whiteboards, or TVs to enhance interactive learning across all classrooms.
Performance area/quiet area:
We believe in learning beyond the classroom walls. A dedicated outdoor learning and performance space will foster confidence, creativity, and teamwork.
Sensory garden:
A tranquil sensory garden will provide a calming, engaging space for all students to enjoy and learn from nature.
New artwork:
The artwork around our school tells a story - and it’s time to add a new chapter. We aim to refresh our walls with vibrant, community-created art that reflects the spirit and diversity of our school.
Charting the course: how you can help
Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to our goal. Whether you're an alumnus remembering your school days, a parent or grandparent wanting the best for your child, or a community member who values education, your support makes a difference.
Donate now and be a part of our school's journey into the future!
A message from our Headteacher, Mrs Stepney:
This campaign isn't just about raising funds; it's about building a legacy. Together, we can create an environment where our children thrive, learn, and grow. Thank you for being part of this journey.

Setting sail for 2026
With your support, the celebrations in 2026 will not only mark 20 years since our school's reopening but will also showcase the incredible improvements made possible by your generosity.
Let’s set sail towards a brighter future - All Aboard!
