Visit the charity's profileBrian Magee is a former world Campion professional boxer who now runs his own fitness business and gym Magee Health and Fitness.
Since 2017 he has organised white collar boxing training camps for people who what to learn the inside tricks of boxing from a professional team in a safe and secure environment. The camps have raised nearly £80,000 for Action Cancer since that time.
Over 8 weeks participants hone their mind and body before stepping into the ring for 3 rounds against an opponent in a glitzy and glamorous All Star White Collar Boxing event on 27th October 2023.
Each participant is asked to raise £120 for Action Cancer.
With this money the charity can provide a potentially life saving breast screening appointment for a local lady aged 40 49 or 70+
Action Cancer also provide support service to those people affected by a cancer diagnosis such as counselling and complementary therapy.
