Our 2022 gift day has an ambitious target of £50,000 with a theme of 'People'. As a church we are passionate about seeing lives transformed but this can't happen without our incredible, dedicated staff.

Without our 'People' we will not be able to maintain and expand the work we do to see a transformation in the lives of those in need; to see a transformation in our community; and to see a transformation in the lives of all those who attend the church wherever we are on our faith journey.

Including our pre-school staff we currently have 15 full-time or part-time members of staff. However, in the coming year we wish to see two new members of staff join our team, including a Youth Worker and a Children and Families Worker, so we can continue and expand the fabulous work we do. It is also our aspiration to give a pay rise to our staff to value and reward them for all they do, both in the church but also in our community. This pay rise is about 20% of our target.

We currently help or work with over 400 people in a typical week at SBC and we want to continue to do that........ and do more. A member of staff at Oak Green School said, "The work you do is inspirational and we look forward to supporting you and our local community".
