With the blessed month of Ramdhan 2025 now started, it gives us all an opportunity to give charity and reap the rewards promised to us by Allah in which he said:

“Ramadan is the month of giving and mercy, and in it, Allah blesses the believers with forgiveness and being saved from Hellfire. Therefore, whoever is merciful and giving in Ramadan, Allah will be even more Merciful and Giving and will bestow upon him countless bounties and blessings.”

The Holy Prophet (PBUH) is reported to have said:

“Ramadan is an honorable and blessed month, and the rewards for generosity are multiplied in it.”

This Ramadhan Al Zahoor Orphanage Academy will remain open and will provide iftar and taraweeh facilities to all the children, staff and the local community, most which are poor and destitute.

Al Zahoor can also discharge your Fidya which comes to only £60 for the full month. Provisions will be provided sufficient for x2 meals for up to the 30 day of Ramdhan to an eligible poor person.

It was narrated from Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

“Whoever gives food for a fasting person to break his fast, he will have a reward like theirs, without that detracting from their reward in the slightest.”

We continue to run Iftar projects in the Rohingya and Bihari refugees camps this year as well. Please see our pictures on facebook and donate generously to help these people.

Please also consider donating towards the ongoing cost of running and expansion of Al Zahoor Orphanage Academy with your Sadaqah and illiah. Al Zahoor do not receive any statutory funding to run the orphanage and are completely reliant on the generosity of the Ummah.
