🏅Walking a Half Marathon for the Abbeyfield Canvey Island Residents!🏅

Four of our amazing staff members—Bobbie, Iris, Pim, and Shirley—are taking on a massive challenge for our wonderful home! 🏡

On 6th October, the girls will be walking 13.1 miles (the exact length of a half marathon) from our home, Abbeyfield on Long Road, all the way to Hadleigh Castle and back again.🥾👟

Why We Need Your Support!!

They are stepping up to raise vital funds for our Residents' Social Fund.

*Abbeyfield is more than just a house; its our home and we are like one huge, close-knit family*.

Our social fund is incredibly important because it directly funds:

•Special events and seasonal celebrations

•Day trips and local outings

•Engaging activities

And entertainment tailored for our fabulous residents

We are not a care home so we don't get money for activities, events, enrichment projects

We rely upon money raised for the social fund to do these things.
