Empower Young Lives with the Ambitious Together Foundation
Every generation carries the potential to shape a better future, yet not every young person has the tools, guidance or chance to do so. At the Ambitious Together Foundation (ATF), we believe resilience can become opportunity and lived experience can become leadership when the right support is in place.
ATF is a UK-registered charity creating the nation’s first infrastructure for mentoring. We work with care-experienced, care-adjacent and marginalised young people aged 16 to 30, many of whom have faced significant disadvantage due to childhood trauma, bereavement, disrupted family support or long periods of instability. These young people show extraordinary strength, yet too often face adulthood without networks, confidence or access to opportunity.
Across the UK, one in three care leavers becomes homeless within two years, up to 27 percent of the adult prison population have experienced care, and nearly one million young people are economically inactive or not in education, employment or training. This is not a shortage of potential. It is a shortage of connection and opportunity.
ATF combines intergenerational mentoring, technology, research and policy partnerships to change this. Our AI-supported matching and monitoring ensures every mentoring relationship is safe, compatible and impactful. Mentoring builds confidence, increases wellbeing and supports young people to enter education, work or training, strengthening both communities and the wider economy.
Every pound invested helps unlock potential, fuel ambition and create lasting change. When we support one young person, we create a ripple effect that reaches families, communities and future generations.
