Anawim has been in Balsall Heath for 40 years, providing a safe space and a listening ear for any woman that needs it. We now work with more than 2,000 women every year in a gender and trauma-responsive way. Our staff provide advocacy, counselling, crisis intervention, and intensive long-term specialist support both in the community in Birmingham and in prison.
