KeyRing is part of the Ancora Project along with Oldham Foodbank and Christians Against Poverty. Between us we provide advice and support, food parcels and other essential items, and advice and training in life skills, money management and health and wellbeing.
The project supports anyone who finds themselves in crisis, regardless of whether they qualify for formal support.
This Christmas we are asking for your help to support as many people as possible. We welcome donations of food to the foodbank (see below for a list of what we need). You can drop them off at any Asda or Tesco in Oldham, or take them directly to the foodbank:
The Three Crowns Centre, 1-3 Manchester Street, OL1 1LE
We also need sleeping bags, old mobile phones, clean clothes and new underwear. These can be taken to the KeyRing office during office hours:
KeyRing, Highfield Works, West End Street, OL9 6AJ
If that's tricky please give us a ring on 0161 628 4133 to arrange.
£5 will buy a set of warm socks or underwear
£12 will pay for a birth certificate for someone who has no other ID and needs to open a bank account
£15 will buy a sleeping bag
£20 will buy a specialist food parcel so that we can provide food for everyone, whatever their dietary or cultural needs
The food items we need most are: tinned fruit, tea bags, dried pasta, UHT milk, rice, tinned veg (not peas) pasta sauce, sugar
Thank you!
