Andy's Room is a specialised sensory room, within the Oxford Head Injury Services rehabilitation centre, funded by Play2Give and formally unveiled on January 29 2026.

Over £5,000 was provided by Play2Give to transform a former dull, drab and tired room into a sensory room - a space of calm, tranquility and relaxation for adult service users with brain injuries, and as well as a relaxing, calm and comforting environment provides a space for speech therapy, seated yoga, counselling and meetings and music therapy to take place.

Andy's Room is also an immersive and interactive experience with sounds and lights with lots of elements including tactile items, fidget toys, activities, sensory liquid floor tiles, comfortable seating, infinity mirrors, artwork adorning the walls, a sense of nature with plants, bubble fish lamps, lava lamps, and more.

Funds donated online to Andy's Room will keep our sponsored sensory room maintained, equipped and furnished over the years and keep Andy's Room the very special space that it is.
