Story
A home for homeless children
Angelica’s Home is more than a children’s home. It is a sanctuary filled with love, faith, and resilience — a place where vulnerable and orphaned children in Embulbul, Kenya, find safety, nourishment, and the chance to dream again. The home has welcomed over 100 children since its early days and now lovingly cares for around 30 children, each with their own story, struggles, and bright potential.
Every child who arrives at Angelica’s Home is greeted not with judgment but with compassion, stability, and a family ready to care for them.

Our mission
The mission of Angelica’s Home is simple but life‑changing:
To provide a safe, nurturing environment where vulnerable children can thrive physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
The team ensures every child receives:
• Daily nutritious meals
• Access to education, school uniforms, and textbooks
• Emotional support and counselling
• Healthcare at Zamzam Hospital
• A safe place to sleep and a sense of belonging
These essentials are the foundation upon which their futures are built.
Their Story & The Children They Care For
Angelica’s Home was founded over 15 years ago by Pastor Jane Jimono, who saw the deep struggles faced by children in her community and felt called to act. Starting with just a handful of children, she opened her home and her heart, creating a place where young people could feel safe, supported, and loved. Over the years, the home has grown into a stable haven that continues to welcome children in urgent need of care and protection.

The children at Angelica’s Home come from difficult and often heartbreaking circumstances, yet each one carries incredible potential and resilience.
Some arrived as infants, some as young schoolchildren, and some after family hardships. Many now thrive in school, enjoy sports, dance, or dream of future careers.
At Angelica’s Home, every child is treated as family. They are given meals, emotional support, a place to sleep, and the chance to grow in a loving community.
