Join us on 20th January for a Fire Walk at the stunning location of Guildford Cathedral. (rescheduled from original date in October 2023)

Brave the hot coals - no tricks, no special effects - it's you and the fire. This is a mental challenge rather than a physical one, test your mental resilience. An amazing feat – but no burnt feet.

A fully qualified instructor from one of the UKs leading Fire Walk companies will provide training for all participants before you walk across 5m of glowing embers that can reach temperatures of around 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit.

TO BOOK YOUR PLACE:

There is a £35 sign-up fee, which will pay for your entry into the challenge and includes all the preparation training, the Fire Walk, a certificate, and some bubbles to celebrate your achievement. Anyone can sign up over 12 years.

Please pay your £35 entry fee using the Give Now option. We will then contact you to confirm your place with further information. Please ensure we have your name and how many places you wish to book in the comments.

(If you want to sign up on the day you MUST arrive by 5pm at Seasons Café, next to the Cathedral – when the training will start. Please contact event organiser if interested but not signing up in advance. In the case of last-minute postponement due to adverse weather we would like to be able to let you know)

The onsite Seasons Café have kindly agreed to stay open for the event and offer a hot menu, as well as a fully stocked range of snacks, hot drinks, soft drinks and alcohol and we encourage you to bring your friends and family to support you as you face this challenge. There is free parking and you will need to arrive by 5pm

What happens after you sign up?

Once you have signed up we will contact you with more detailed event information and information on how to set up a linked Just Giving page for your individual fundraising.

The event is being held in support of Animals Asia saving bears from a living hell and bring an end to Bear Bile Farming.
