The Association of Carers was established in 1987 by a group of Carers and healthcare professionals who recognised the need for Carers to be able to take a regular break from their caring role.

We currently work with over 150 volunteers to provide three main services to around 200 Carers in East Sussex. The Carers we support come from a range of backgrounds, looking after people with a range of conditions/disabilities.

The services we provide are free, and in order to these services to remain free, we regularly host fundraising initiatives such as this race.
