Story
The annual RNLI Clovelly to Appledore Lifeboat Station Walk will be taking place this year on Saturday 12 September.
The 16-mile walk follows the follows the stunning South West Coast Path.
Leaving Clovelly at 9am with frequent marshal posts, water and first aid cover, the walk should take approximately 5 hours, reaching Appledore Lifeboat Station in the afternoon, with transport back to Clovelly if required.

Last year the RNLI marked the 200th anniversary of the establishment of a lifeboat station at Appledore.
Each year this popular walk attracts over 100 people and raises a considerable amount of money to support the lifesaving work that our volunteer crews have been carrying out along the North Devon Coast.
Our goal is to get over 200 people to take part in this years walk. It would be fantastic if we can raise over £20k which would be £100 for every year that our volunteers have been saving lives at Appledore.
Walkers must be at least 13 years old and always accompanied by an adult if under 16. For more information email the organiser roy@roybroad.com or visit https://www.rnliappledore.org.uk/events
