For over 20yrs Beyond the Horizon Charity has been supporting children and families in Birmingham. We work with families who have experienced loss and trauma from bereavement, family separation or domestic abuse. We offer 1:1 therapy, family bereavement support, parent support sessions and Child Parent Relationship Therapy to help children and their families find healing and happiness. Our core work provides the support for free, and in the school, home or local community of the child. So that children, from all areas of Birmingham, can access the support they need without barriers of cost or transport. But, like many other charities our funds are being stretched as we try to meet the increasing need for our service, with rising costs. So please support us, so we can continue to provide this vital service. For more information about our service please visit www.beyondthehorizon.org.uk
£60 donation buys an hour of family bereavement support or one to one therapy for a child
£30 donation will buy a kit to be used in Child Parent Relationship Therapy
£10 will give initial support and a themed resource to a child or young person who calls the office
For our sponsored walk, on 10th April, our staff team and volunteers will put on our walking shoes to walk ‘our patch’ from north to south Birmingham, through the areas where we work. Starting in Four Oaks we will walk along the water ways and green spaces of our lovely city, all the way to Longbridge in the south – a distance of 31K! Please support us and help continue our support for children and families in Birmingham. If you would like to get more involved, please contact our office on 0121 444 5454. Thank you for your support.
