The Great London Bridges Walk 2025 - Watch the film!
This year, on Sunday, 14th September, we’ll walk 32 miles along the Thames Pathway, crossing 26 iconic bridges in support of UCLH Charity. From Hampton Court to Tower Bridge, we aim to raise £70,000 to support the role of a Clinical Nurse Specialist for a second year, helping to care for patients at UCLH.
Whether you cross one bridge or all 26, this is your journey. Walk what you can - every step is a story. Thanks to your generosity last year, this role became a reality. So this year, we walk to keep it going – to continue what we started!
We all face bridges in life. Some we cross with hope. Others with fear. And some with the quiet weight of the unknown. Last year, we walked through London for those facing a journey they never chose. And this year, we’ll walk again – 32 miles along the Thames Pathway, crossing 26 bridges in support of UCLH Charity.
We're walking to help fund the second year of a Clinical Nurse Specialist at UCLH – a vital role that offers care, comfort and clarity to people navigating skin cancer treatment. A steady hand when everything feels uncertain, a Clinical Nurse Specialist quite literally bridges the gap between diagnosis and treatment with compassion.
We believe in something simple… If around 100 walkers each raise what they can with the help of their friends and families, we can reach our £70,000 target. That’s one more year of life-changing care for those who need it most. And no one walks alone… We’ll be side by side on the day – walking with friends, walking for loved ones, walking because we can.
We’re walking for Jacque. We’re walking for Graham. We’re walking for thousands of people we may never meet, but hold in our hearts.
Every bridge we cross brings someone closer to the support they need. So join us, or give what you can. Together, we can bridge the gap.
26 Bridges. 1 Day. £70,000!
