Ark Burlington Danes takes on the Thames!

With sports days unable to take place this year, Ark Burlington Danes Academy is taking part in the Ark Sports Day Challenge - to get the schools across the Ark network to collectively cycle, run and walk the 40,000km distance around the world.

Ark Burlington Danes Academy are undertaking the challenge of travelling the length of the Thames as many times as possible. We are competing in year groups and teaching departments, and are determined to travel further than any other school in the Ark network. The school only has two weeks to complete the challenge, from the 1st to 15th July.

We need your help! Any donations will support our children who have been most affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. This crisis has affected everyone differently. Some of our children will have really struggled to keep up with their learning since schools have been closed - not all have digital access at home or a suitable place to study. Many of our children will also be from families who have suffered illness or financial distress. We must take action now to address this impact on our children to ensure we can prevent this crisis causing long term issues.
