Story
In rural India, millions of families continue to face challenges in healthcare access, income security and social wellbeing.
Founded by Sadhguru in 2003, Action for Rural Rejuvenation (ARR) takes a holistic approach to these challenges through long-term, community-led interventions.
Under ARR, three key initiatives are driving meaningful impact:
ARR Health:
Improving access to primary healthcare through medical camps, preventive care and health awareness across rural villages.
Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs):
Strengthening farmer collectives, improving market linkages and increasing income opportunities for small and marginal farmers.
Isha Gramotsavam:
A rural sports and cultural movement promoting physical wellbeing, youth participation and stronger community bonds across villages.
Together, these initiatives create a sustainable model for rural revitalisation built on health, livelihood, and community ownership.
Impact:
ARR Health:
55,00,000+ patient visits supported across 7,500+ villages through essential healthcare access and preventive awareness.
FPOs:
24 Farmer Producer Organisations established, empowering 15,000+ farmers with stronger market access and better income opportunities.
Isha Gramotsavam:
263,000+ rural players across 35,000 villages engaged, earning the prestigious Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puraskar for its contribution to rural sports.
Your support helps create healthier villages, stronger livelihoods and more resilient rural communities.
ARR prioritises the well-being of rural communities by creating long-term, sustainable change rooted in local participation, ownership and inclusion.
As part of Isha Outreach, ARR is one of several large-scale initiatives dedicated to supporting individual growth, rebuilding communities and strengthening rural societies.
Together, these efforts serve as a powerful model for human empowerment and community revitalisation, creating lasting impact at both the individual and societal level.
