With over 20,000 people in the UK living with this life-threatening condition, access to consistent follow-up care, early intervention, and emotional support is critical yet often lacking.

Your donations will directly fund the training and placement of Aortic Dissection Advanced Practitioners - specialist nurses focused on the holistic care of the aorta, from top to bottom. These nurses will provide much-needed follow-up services, including annual scans, lifestyle guidance, genetic counselling, and emotional support, ensuring patients and their families receive the care they deserve.

Artivion is committed to “caring for the whole aorta.” With expertise in developing innovative aortic-centric technologies, our fundraising aims to address the full spectrum of patient needs by helping to place these life-saving nurses. Your contribution will fund roles that prevent complications, extend lives and improve quality of life for thousands.

This year, our fundraising efforts include the Artivion Cycling Challenge, where participants will take on three days of scenic yet challenging cycling in Majorca’s Tramuntana mountains.
