Story

We have 50 places at our table this year
This Christmas, help us bring a little joy, kindness and togetherness to people experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity in Rotherham.
At Shiloh, we're getting ready to make Christmas extra special for the people who access our services.
As part of our 'A Shiloh Christmas' appeal, we're hoping to welcome 50 guests to a special Christmas party.
For many of our guests, Christmas can be a difficult or lonely time. We want to create an opportunity for people to come together, enjoy the festivities and feel part of a welcoming community.
Our Christmas celebration will include a traditional Christmas dinner, festive treats, entertainment, a visit from Santa and a Christmas gift bag full of presents for every guest.
And you can help make it happen for just £12!
£12 gives one person a place at our Christmas table.
We are hoping to raise £600 to provide 50 places at our celebration.

A Christmas Gift That Gives Twice!
Looking for a meaningful gift for someone who has everything?
Instead of buying another traditional present, why not give a gift that makes a difference?
For just £12, you can fund a place at our Christmas table on behalf of someone you love.
We'll send you a special A Shiloh Christmas digital gift card that you can give to your friend, family member or loved one, letting them know that a donation has been made on their behalf to help someone enjoy a special Christmas celebration.
It's one thoughtful gift that shares the joy of Christmas with two people!
How to request your digital gift card:
Make your donation through this JustGiving page.
Email us at contact@shilohrotherham.org.uk letting us know you've donated and would like a card.
We'll email you your digital A Shiloh Christmas gift card as a PDF, ready for you to forward to your loved one or print at home.
Please note: Gift cards are digital only and will not be posted.
Your Kindness Can Make a Difference Beyond Christmas
If we're fortunate enough to reach our £600 target, any additional donations will be used to help us provide food for people accessing Shiloh's services throughout 2027.
So whether you donate £12, fund several places or give whatever you can afford, your generosity will help us support people experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity in our community.
Donations are welcome until 31 December 2026.
