Our much-loved and very well-used Magic Carpet aka the AstroTurf in the playground, is sadly coming to the end of its life. Mr Chris Ashley-Jones and the Hitherfield team have asked the PTA to fund its replacement, which is going to cost £26,000!

We have been fundraising since the beginning of September by putting on various events and have managed to raise nearly £11,000! We are also using some of the funds from last year's events and so we only have £5000 left to raise to achieve our goal.

All the children at the school love using the Magic Carpet during their play times throughout the year and with its replacement, we are hoping that they will continue to enjoy it for many years to come.
