While we wait for the Bell Foundry to make the additional parts needed to install the electronic ringing mechanism we need to have the bell chamber cleaned to make it safe for the work to be completed. There is around 30 years of dust and pigeon guano to be removed. It is hazardous work so we need to employ specialist cleaners. The cost is around £4000. While we still have £1500 in the bell fund this leaves us around £2500 short. Any donation will be gratefully received.
