We are working hard to purchase two new AutoPulse machines for the emergency services department as this very compact clever piece of kit has played an important role supporting our patients who are in cardiac arrest in pretty much any location in the hospital - even while being carried up and down stairs. Unfortunately the last machine which was also purchased with charitable funds many years ago has now had to retire and the other one we have is on loan so we need to return it so we have a team of dedicated staff members from training managers, matrons to consultants all doing various events over the next few months to raise the funds needed to purchase a replacement. From jumping out of aeroplanes at 15,000ft, running in the dark in a park, half marathons, cycles and swims to baking cakes and having ice baths they will do almost ANYTHING to support our patients.
