Through Hedgerow Heroes, we've planted and restored miles of hedgerow across Oxfordshire, bolstering wildlife corridors and local landscape, engaging with nearly 400 volunteers, and training 30 people in hedgelaying workshops.

We’ve also taken up arms alongside local groups against mega-projects like Botley West solar farm and the Abingdon Reservoir, pushing for better planning, community involvement and more nature-friendly alternatives.

We've responded to local plans and other consultations, pushing for greater protection of the countryside and more joined-up thinking, acting as a voice for nature and communities.

We've also continued to engage with local politicians and decision makers to help them understand the real threats to our rural landscapes and the important role they play for everyone, regardless of where they live.
