We launch our Autumn Appeal, asking all the wonderful dog lovers out there to please offer your financial support to us in whatever way you can this autumn, to enable us to continue helping the older dogs in our care. We have faced a summer of extremely high costs, with expenses, which are predominantly vet bills, reaching almost £29,000 in August alone. Sadly we have found our outgoings in recent months to often exceed our income for the month and this is deeply troubling for us, as we don't expect the rescue situation to improve any time soon.

We really do not want to find ourselves in the position where we have to consider closing our doors to older dogs once more, especially at a time where more dogs than ever seem to be in need of help, and with numerous oldies already on our waiting list.

We must, of course, continue to provide for the older dogs already in our care and we desperately want to continue bringing in other oldies, but we can only do this with your donations.
