Following the recent acquisition of our Avro Lancaster Cockpit Section last year we have been offered the opportunity to acquire a collection of Luftwaffe flying kit and a rare restored Fug 16 ZY radio set as used in the Me109, Fw 190 and Me 262 fighters.

These would be great additions to our collection and would enable us to display a more balanced picture of the air war. The radio set would also be used for education and to support the annual 'museums on the air event' alongside our friends at the Hilderstone Radio Society who have an antenna based at the Museum.

We need to raise the finds for these items by the end of November to make this happen.

If we are unsuccesful in our efforts any donations will be ringfenced for collections development/artefact acquisition.
