We are a free peer support charity that connects people through their grief and mental health. We aim to change the way we discuss our grief, mental health and well-being in open and honest spaces. Nobody should ever feel isolated, and there is always somebody who will relate to your story.

Story

We Need You...

*This is an urgent fundraising appeal for The New Normal Charity.*

Emergency Appeal

After a year of much lower fundraising than usual, we need your help.

We urgently need to raise £20,000 to allow us to continue delivering our vital services throughout the remainder of 2023.

If we cannot bring in this minimum amount, we will be forced to reduce what we know to be life-changing support from the end of October.

Please donate what you can to allow us to continue to help you, your loved ones and your communities.

You can make a single donation, or set up a monthly payment which will massively help with sustaining income while we continue to seek additional sources of funds.

We appreciate any and all support, no matter how small!

Who Are The New Normal?

The New Normal is a charity that connects adults through their experience of grief and mental health. Our mission is to provide space for adults who are struggling with life's difficult moments, particularly bereavement, to discuss these issues through non- judgemental peer to peer group support.

Our peer support meetings have no waiting lists, no fees, no limits to how many meetings you can attend, and no restrictive referrals.

Since our first meeting in 2018, and despite a global lockdown, we have delivered a huge 912 peer support meetings (80,000+ minutes) with nearly 8,500 attendances by people in need of free to access bereavement and mental health support.

At TNN, we believe that 'if there is one, there is two': no one person is ever alone, and there is always somebody who will relate to your story.

We feel that, very simply, the best form of therapy is always to talk.

A Walk to Nowhere

A peer to peer event to raise awareness of our cause and celebrate the power of conversation!

The challenge is a simple one: walking 5km with your family, friends or colleagues, using the opportunity to speak openly about the difficult moments in life.

Space to talk is precious, let us help you create it!

It's about the conversation, not the destination!

We held an in person Walk to Nowhere in Regent's Park in September 2023, which was a huge success! Why not hold one local to you?
