What will the money be used for?
The main focus of any funding made by AWOL in 2020 is to provide us with a new Mini Bus which we are in desperate need off. Many Youth groups can't provide their own transport and its up to us to step in so they also have the fair chance of learning in the outdoors. Also to get them out of their areas for a short time of respite. We develop their skills from Mountain bike trail handling to how they communicate with members of the public when on the bikes for example. We simply use the vehicle of outdoor pursuits to tap into the soft skills they need, but we can't use outdoor learning as a vehicle if we don't have a vehicle to get them here. Please help us, help the community for the future adults. "Help the children of today become the adults of tomorrow" .
