Anwar Welfare Trust, led by founder Anwar Hussain, is on a mission to make a significant impact in a small village in Bangladesh.
We are building an orphanage to accommodate 30 children who have no family. The premises will also operate as a School for poor children.
A safe and secure environment will be provided to allow the children to thrive. Together with your support, we can give these children a chance at a brighter future.
Anwar Hussain has donated his land and the existing structure of his property in aid of this project. The work involves constructing an additional floor above the property, which will form the school and accommodation for orphans. This unique arrangement not only reduces costs but also ensures children are accommodated safely.
• Location: Vill: Tetley Uttar Para, Sylhet Anwar Hussain's village in Bangladesh
• Current Structure: Ground floor
• New Construction: an additional storey - first floor
• Capacity: School place for over 60+ children. Accommodation for 30 orphans
• Services to be provided: Holistic Education – including maths, science, IT and languages (English, Arabic and Bengali)
The total estimated cost to build the orphanage is £35,000. Anwar Hussain's donation of the land and permission to use the existing structure means we only need to cover the construction and furnishing costs for the additional floor. Your contributions will directly fund the materials, labour, and essential amenities needed to make this dream a reality.
Please help us reach our goal of £35,000 and give these children the future they deserve. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to making this project a reality.

About Anwar Welfare Trust
With a passion to help those in need, Anwar Welfare Trust, a UK based international relief charity was established in the year 2000. Our mission is to help the most vulnerable and impoverished communities in Bangladesh.
Sadly, many of the population are without basic necessities like clean water, clothing, food and medicine. Bangladesh also continues to be devastated by substantial floods, with the people affected requiring emergency relief.
We have a dynamic team of volunteers on the ground to support those in need, by providing medical care, food packages, education and orphan care. We also help build homes and water wells.
Whilst over the years we have supported thousands of people with your help, there remains much work to be done. We are dedicated to this cause and with your generous support, we can continue to help change human lives for the better
