Ruby has been a member of AYF for a few years now. She has been wanting to do something for AYF for a long time as she feels she has been privileged to have our support during difficult times and has benefited from going on the "fantastic summer trips".

Ruby would like to raise money for AYF as a way of saying thank you and showing her gratitude. To do this, she will swim 1.3 miles from Holy Isle, across Lamlash Bay to Lamlash Pier, at the Lamlash Splash on 16th September 2023.

She says she has been inspired by our youth worker Graeme's recent challenge in which he ran round the Isle of Arran (56 miles), raising over £5,000 in the process. Ruby says she has always looked up to Graeme and everything that he does for the young people of Arran.

All of us at Arran Youth Foundations think it is so admirable and inspiring that one of our young people wants to give back in this way and ask that all of our supporters dig deep and show Ruby your support!
