Baby Bundle Bank was established in 2016 when it was identified that many expectant and new parents facing issues such as financial hardship, mental health and domestic abuse were unable to provide the basic essentials for their new-borns and their babies up to 12 months.

Therefore, funding was attracted to develop a scheme whereby new and good quality second hand items e.g. clothing, blankets, towels, toiletries, baths, cots, buggies and a range of other essentials were donated to the project and provided to families in need either via referrals from professionals or from individuals.

Referrals for the project have been increasing over the past few months and donations to the project have been low due to the pandemic and we are in need of increasing our stock across our bases in Ceredigion, Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire.

By donating £10 to Baby Bundle Bank, we can provide a pack of nappies, toiletries and a pack of bodysuits to a family.

By donating £20, we can provide a pack of nappies, toiletries, a pack of bodysuits, a pack of sleep suits and bibs to a family.

By donating £30, we can provide a pack of nappies, toiletries, a pack of bodysuits, a pack of sleep suits, bibs, a towel, muslins and socks to a family.

Sefydlwyd Banc Bwndel Babi yn 2016 pan nodwyd fod llawer o rieni disgwyliedig a newydd sy'n wynebu problemau fel caledi ariannol, iechyd meddwl a cham-drin domestig ddim yn gallu darparu'r pethau sylfaenol ar gyfer eu babi newydd-anedig ac hyd at 12 mis.

Felly, denwyd cyllid i ddatblygu cynllun lle rhoddwyd eitemau newydd ac ail-law o ansawdd da e.e. dillad, blancedi, tyweli, baddonau, cotiau, bygis ac amrywiaeth o hanfodion eraill i'r prosiect a'u darparu i deuluoedd mewn angen naill ai drwy atgyfeiriadau gan weithwyr proffesiynol neu gan unigolion.

Mae atgyfeiriadau ar gyfer y prosiect wedi bod yn cynyddu dros y misoedd diwethaf ac mae rhoddion i'r prosiect wedi bod yn isel oherwydd y pandemig. Mae angen cynyddu ein stoc ar draws ein canolfannau yng Ngheredigion, Sir Gaerfyrddin a Sir Benfro.
