This Baby Loss Awareness Week, Little Wings of Hope is bringing communities together across Brightlingsea, Braintree, Colchester, Chelmsford and Witham to remember and honour babies who have died during pregnancy or shortly after birth.

e inviting you to donate a ribbon in memory of a baby you love. Each ribbon will represent a precious baby who was loved, wanted and will never be forgotten.

Whether your loss was recent or many years ago, we want families to know that their babies matter, their stories matter, and they have a place within our community.

Throughout 9–15 October 2026, ribbons will help us create beautiful displays of remembrance across our local areas, bringing people together to talk openly about baby loss, remember the babies who should be here, and show bereaved families that they are not alone.

By donating a ribbon, you’ll also be helping Little Wings of Hope continue its vital work supporting families after baby loss across the East of England.
