On Sunday 13th September I will be undertaking the Bacchus Wine Half Marathon which is around a vineyard, with obligatory wine stops along the way! It is all in a very good cause and I am hoping the wine will carry me through the final few miles !

All donations raised will go to The HUGE Partnership (Helping UGanda Educate), a small UK registered charity that supports education in Nabugabo, rural Uganda. As at the start of 2026, the charity will be funding 240 children across primary and secondary education, and importantly, 60% of them are girls. There are no government schools in the area and for many families in this rural community, the cost of education can be the difference between a child staying in school or dropping out.

Education is one of the most powerful ways to break cycles of poverty, giving children the opportunity to build better futures for themselves and their communities. Every donation makes a real difference — thank you so much for your support.
