Bagh City School Fundraising Appeal with READ Foundation

We have committed to raise £90,000, to help build a fit for purpose, flagship school in Bagh, Kashmir with READ Foundation.

We are a non-profit organisation working to create school places for children affected by poverty. We have been implementing educational projects since 1994. Today, we have enough places for 112,006 children to gain an education across 390 schools of which 11,341 are orphaned.

Story

Last year we attended a READ Foundation fundraising dinner, where we had the pleasure of meeting Sheikh Yasir Qadhi and learn about this amazing flagship school complex that he is raising funds for, to build in Kashmir, inshaa'allah.

We have committed to raise £90,000 towards this school with Allah's help. This school will help to educate 1,500 underprivileged children, including orphans in a safe and supportive environment. Providing access to education for these children will benefit the society they live in as a whole.
