This Christmas, Dundee Bairns is once again supporting families across our city who are facing hardship. Last year, thanks to your generosity, we provided food hampers and vouchers to around 1,500 children in 850 families — ensuring they had vital support with access to food and other essentials over what can be a difficult festive season for too many.
Family in need - mum has just lost her job and dad is unwell. They are struggling to pay the bills. 2 children aged 2 and 4.
Families are referred to us by schools and support services, and every donation goes directly toward helping those most in need. With child poverty still affecting 1 in 3 children in Dundee, your support is more vital than ever.
Gran has just had A, 12 put into her care - she's trying to manage on her pension, no access to child benefit. She's terrified that she won't be able to feed A, let alone buy her a Christmas gift
