We arrange the streetlamp Christmas lights and various trees around Banff and Macduff, including the primary school displays, the harvest centre and Macduff harbour. The current committee took over in 2018 and every year since we've been working hard to repair and improve the lights to lift everyone's spirits during the darker months.

We've also worked to reduce costs and waste over these years, such as by repairing and refurbishing old frames, sourcing new (cheaper) suppliers for our consumables such as lights parts and the stainless steel banding that fixes the lights in place, and doing as much of the work as possible ourselves.

We're proud of the work we've achieved in this time and, as always, we need your help to continue. The lights committee is voluntary and receives no financial support from the Council or any other outside body, so we rely on donations and fundraising events to put these displays on.
