Keep them alive, keep them warm. Help them to survive this Winter! As the temperature drops, the risk to the lives of millions of vulnerable people increases. After enduring treacherous years with war, natural disaster and a global pandemic, the change in weather brings a new and dangerous threat. Without adequate shelter, warm clothing, blankets, heating or food - freezing to death is a real possibility. Having survived poverty, fought Covid-19, some even fled war (the Rohingya refugee`s), endured life in camps or on the streets, millions of people across Bangladesh have no protection against the harsh cold winter weather - in the Rohingya refugee camps on the border of Bangladesh, and throughout towns and villages of Bangladesh.
Freezing nights, rain and harsh winds will only claim more lives. Children, the elderly, the homeless and those dealing with long-term illness will lose their lives to hypothermia, pneumonia and starvation. Many will not survive to see the warmer days...
